How the Best Darn Cookie
became the
Best Darn Cookie...
...it all started when my wife was pregnant with our first child in the Fall of 2002. We had just found out we were having a girl and my wife got to thinking about when our Daughter would be in school. She said she wanted our daughters friends to say "her Mom makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies!!"
So, she began to research and experiment with different combinations. At one point our kitchen looked more like a lab than anything else. Of course the taste testing wasn't all bad... At last she came upon the perfect combination of ingredients and their amounts and the perfect cooking time to produce the best darn chocolate chip cookie. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside!
After that we would make them for birthdays, goodie day at work and just because. Each time we did, everyone would ask about them and say "you need to sell these!" So, finally we decided to give it a shot and made arrangements to make them in small batches to keep the quality the same and share our cookies with everyone.
We use the best ingredients including real butter, Madagascar vanilla, heavy cream, and a mix of brown and white sugars to make our cookies. They're shipped out fresh for your enjoyment. We hope you enjoy eating them as much as we do making them. We bet you'll say "they make the best darn cookies!"
